Benefits of Veterinary Rehabilitation

Relieves pain - rehab reduces pain from arthritis, injuries, and surgery so your pet can rest, move, and play more comfortably.

Improves mobility - Targeted exercise and manual therapy help your pet walk, climb stairs, and get up and down with more ease and confidence.

Speeds up recovery - Rehabilitation supports healing after surgery or injury, helping your pet regain strength and functio more safely and efficiently.  Following TPLOs or fracture repairs, rehabilitation improves outcomes.

Protects joints and muscles - Strengthening weak areas and improving body mechanics can reduce strain on joints and lower the risk of future injuries for active pets and sport dogs.

Improves quality of life - by easing an improving movement, rehab helps your pet stay happier, more active, and more engaged with your family.

Treatment Modalities

Veterinarian Pain and Mobility Assessment

Performed with every initial consultation and along the way through treatment.  This is a comprehensive evaluation with a licensed veterinarian to identify pain sources and movement restrictions, providing the foundation for a targeted recovery plan.

Class 4 Laser Therapy

Non-invasive light therapy that accelerates tissue healing, reduces inflammation, and provides significant pain relief for chronic conditions.  In addition to pain relief, this treatment can be utilized to treat wounds and aid in surgical healing.  Laser therapy is also utilized for treatment of gum disease, ear infections, and also some internal conditions.

Manual Therapy

Hands-on techniques including massage and stretching to improve circulation, joint mobility, and overall muscle relaxation for your pet.

Extracorporeal Shockwave

High-energy sound waves stimulate blood flow and natural healing processes in tendons, ligaments, and bone, often yielding rapid results.  Piezoelectric shockwave is gentle and pain-free.

Exercise Therapy

Specific active and passive movements designed to rebuild strength, improve balance, and restore core stability following injury or surgery. Exercises are tailored to your pet’s specific restrictions and abilities using a Fear Free approach to help make sure they are comfortable supported. Every patient receives a tailored home exercise plan to continue therapy after you leave the office.
